After being account holder and registering for mobile banking service, you need to download mDabali app for you concerned cooperative/microfinance. Then, you’ll receive the login credentials for mDabali. Now, you’ll just need to download the app, login to the app using the credentials provided by your cooperative/microfinance and start using it.

Members of the financial institutions (Cooperative or Microfinance) with at least one account, are eligible for this service. But the concerned financial institution should take this platform from InfoDevelopers. Both saving and current accounts can be linked to mDabali.

With the introduction of mDabali, mobile banking service is available at any time and usually everyday i.e. twenty-four hours a day. We bring major banking features and payment solutions together in one place. Be it checking your account statement or paying your electricity bills, you can do it all using mDabali.

In order to use mDabali, first you need to make sure that your cooperative/microfinance has registered for mDabali from InfoDevelopers. Then, if you are a member of the concerned financial institution (Cooperative or Microfinance) with at least one account, you are eligible for this service. Both saving and current account can be used for the service.  Interested customer of the cooperatives/microfinance will need to register for mobile banking services in their respective institution. Then, you’ll need to download mDabali App and login with the login details provided by the cooperatives/microfinance. Now, you can get started with using mDabali.

 

  • Interested institutions should take mDabali platform from InfoDevelopers.

  • InfoDevelopers will list the app for institution with their own branding at play store in Android for free. The registration process will be facilitated by InfoDevelopers.

  • Since iOS offers paid listing in App store, interested institutions will have to bear annual charge of USD 99. Here, the interested institutions will have to register the app by themselves. However, InfoDevelopers will provide assistance during the process, if required.

  • If the interested institution does not want to go through the hassle for iOS registration, they can choose to use a common platform developed by InfoDevelopers. For this, the institutions need to download “Info mDabali” app from App store and choose their respective institution and start using the app.

mDabali is a Mobile Banking Platform developed by InfoDevelopers to bring mobile technology at the doorsteps of people living in both rural and urban parts of the country. A mobile banking platform specifically for cooperatives and microfinances, mDabali App allows its users to enjoy major banking and payment services for its users. With mDabali App, users can manage and access their financial accounts quickly and securely either through SMS, WIFI, or 3G. mDabali provides online or offline payment services in just a click!

App Registration/Installation

mDabali’s mobile Banking supports both GPRS and SMS mode.

 

  • For SMS mode, a SMS will be pushed for every request and response will also be provided through text SMS.

  • For GPRS mode, the request will be executed via Internet Connection (Wi-Fi, GPRS/ 3G/ 4G). Hence, with the help of GPRS mode, you can use it from anywhere around the world.

First of all, download the mDabali Mobile Banking application from Google Play Store or App Store. Then you can see “click here to apply for mobile banking” in the screen. You need your concerned account number, mobile number and any identity card issued by the Government of Nepal such as citizenship, vehicle license, Pan Card etc. to apply for mobile banking.

You cannot self-register for mDabali. Interested members of the cooperatives/microfinance should contact their concerned institution to register for mobile banking service in order to start using mDabali.

Once you install the mDabali app for the concerned institution, you need to follow the given steps for registration:

 

For Android Phone

  • Please log in to your App with the user ID and password received through SMS message.

  • Your username will be the mobile number that you provided during your mobile banking registration process. After successful registration, you will be asked to change your password.

  • Now, change your password and start using your mDabali app.

 

For iOS Phone

  • For iOS phone please choose the app for your Cooperatives

  • Then, log in to your App with the user ID and password received through SMS message.

  • Your username will be the mobile number that you provided during your mobile banking registration process. After successful registration, you will be asked to change your password.

  • Now, change your password and start using your mDabali app.

The application is available on both android and iOS stores. Please visit Google play store and search mDabali Mobile Banking App from your mobile devices in case for android. Go to Apple app store and search for Info mDabali Mobile Banking App from your mobile devices in case for iOS platform.

 

My Account Profile & App issues

In case your mDabali crashes or fails to work properly:

 

Step 1: Please check your internet connectivity and ensure that the internet strength is good.

Step 2: Retry the same by logging out, closing the app and logging in again.

Step 3: Please check if the app is running on the latest version.

Step 4: Please clear your app cache

Step 5: Incase you don’t know how to clear app cache you have to uninstall the app and then install again.

The application might not show in the top list of the Google Play Store because of SEO and app popularity ranking issues.

This message is prompted when the application crashes. This problem should be shared with the concerned institution immediately.

There is no limitation to the number of times you can change your pin. You can contact the concerned institution to change the PIN or to reset the PIN. Also, you can ask to reset the PIN by clicking on Forgot PIN from your application.

Follow the steps provided below to reset your pin if you forgot it:

 

Step 1: Logout from mDabali app from My Profile Section.

Step 2: Click on the “Forget Password” option from the app login screen.

Step 3: Enter your registered mobile number.

Step 4: We will send a 5-digit reset code/OTP to your registered mobile number.

Step 5: Enter this code and reset your password.

Follow the steps provided below, to change the mDabali Pin:

 

Step 1: Tap on your “more” option

Step 2: Click on “Change PIN” then

Step 3: Enter your Old Pin and New Pin after that confirm New Pin

Login password and Secret Pin are the secret codes used for authentication during the login process.

if you are using mobile with activated internet connection in it . The pin is sent after registering the mobile number via CBS.

 

mDabali currently supports 2 languages: English and Nepali.

 

Following the steps below to set the language and date of your choice:

 

Step 1: Go to the more option

Step 2: Click on “setup” then

Step 3: Select the desired language from the options available

Step 4: Select the date type from the options available

Mobile change/Stolen, SIM, Joint account.

No, the amount won’t be deducted from customer’s mobile balance. The amount will be covered by your cooperative/microfinance.

The amount usually gets deducted from the current account. If current account is not available, the amount will be deducted from the account which you have set as your primary account.

Yes, it is available for Joint accounts but only one member can use the mobile banking to view the

Statement and do the financial transactions. This means, the app can be installed in only one of the account ‘holders mobile phone.

No! A single mobile number cannot be used for registration for two (or more) different customers. This is because each mobile number is uniquely registered for one particular customer and thus cannot be re-registered for another customer.

Yes! You can operate maximum five accounts from your mDabali app.

If you lose your mobile phone, you’ll need to contact your financial institution immediately. However, if the person who stole/found your phone will be able to use your mDabali app only if they know your pin. For safer side, you can contact your financial institution and they’ll temporarily block your mDabali account.

If you change your mobile, you’ll need to download mDabali app in your new phone. Then, use your previous pin to login to your mDabali account.

 

However, if in case you forgot your pin, follow the given steps to reset your pin:

 

  • Click on the “Forget Password” option from the app login screen.

  • Enter your registered mobile number.

  • We will send a 5-digit reset code/OTP to your registered mobile number.

  • Enter this code (If you don’t get the code within 45 min, you can request to resend the code.)

 

If in case you change your mobile number, it is very important to notify your cooperative/microfinance about your new number. This is because, if you use mDabali in SMS mode, all the SMS will be sent to your old number which was used during your internet banking registration process.

No, you cannot use mDabali mobile banking by using the SIM other than the one registered during your mobile banking application process. This is because, if you are using mDabali in SMS mode, you won’t get the SMS in other numbers than the registered one.

 

However, if you are using mDabali in GPRS/Wi-Fi mode, the SIM does not matter. But, in both cases it is highly recommended to provide your new mobile number to your cooperative/microfinance.

  2. Select “Other Services” from home page
  3. Select Cheque Stop
  4. Select Access Code and enter Cheque Number then use your PIN No/Fingerprint/Face ID

  1. Open mDabali app
  2. Select “Other Services” from home page
  3. Select Cheque Request
  4. Select Access Code and use your PIN No/Fingerprint/Face ID
  5. Select Confirm button

Steps to transfer money using Cooperative to Bank Fund Transfer:  

  • Open mDabali app
  • Select “Bank Fund Transfer” from home page
  • Select the account number from which you want to transfer the money
  • Enter the required amount you want to transfer
  • Enter the Destination Bank, Account Number, Account Holder’s Name and Address to whom you want to transfer amount
  • Confirm your details and make transaction

Steps to Send Money Using e-Payment:

  • Open mDabali app
  • Select “e-Payment Request” available at the homepage
  • Enter the beneficiary details, i.e. Name, account no, phone number of the recipient.
  • Enter the desired amount, payment expiry days and the choose your account number user want to transfer money from.
  • Enter your PIN No and user will receive the unique code number.
  • User have to provide the unique code received from the app to whom user wants to send money.

Steps to Withdraw/Deposit Money Using e-Teller:

  • Open mDabali app
  • Tap on the “Scan & Pay” button available at the bottom center of the homepage
  • Select “e-Teller QR Scanner
  • Scan the QR placed at the teller counter of your cooperative/microfinance
  • Select the transaction you want to make: deposit or withdraw.
  • Enter the required amount, source of fund and account number. Upload the required documents, if required.
  • Enter your PIN No to complete your transaction.

Steps to Loan Enquiry using mDabali

  1. Open mDabali app
  2. Select “Other Services” from home page
  3. Select Loan Enquiry. Then Select the service you are looking for i.e. Loan Information, Loan Schedule, Loan Calculator, Loan Statement
  4. Select your Loan Account no then use your PIN No/Fingerprint/Face ID

Steps to Account Information using mDabali 

  1. Open mDabali app
  2. Select “Other Services” from home page
  3. Select My Account Information
  4. Use your PIN No/Fingerprint/Face ID
  5. Select Confirm button

Steps to Internal Fund Transfer using mDabali

  1. Open mDabali app
  2. Select “Fund Transfer” from home page
  3. Select Internal Fund Transfer and click on Continue button
  4. Select transfer using Account No. or Mobile No.
  5. Then fill in the required details and select Continue button 

 

Steps to Multiple Loan/Deposit payment using mDabali

  1. Open mDabali app
  2. Select “Loan Payment” from home page
  3. Select the Account Type i.e. Loan or recurring deposit account
  4. Enter the Amount to be paid for the Loan or deposit in the recurring account
  5. Use your PIN No/Fingerprint/Face ID to complete your transaction.

  1. Open mDabali app
  2. Select “Deposit Statement” from home page
  3. Select your “Deposit Account” and use your PIN No/Fingerprint/Face ID

  • Enter your PIN No to complete your transaction.

The flight cancelation terms and condition depends on the policy of the airlines. You’ll need to contact the airlines itself to learn about the voluntary cancellation policy. The amount will be refunded accordingly. This may involve full refund or partial refund after cancellation charges.

 

If the flight booked through mDabali gets cancelled, you’ll need to contact your co-operative/ microfinance to claim your refund.
